(KWNO)-The Kiwanis Club of Winona, Sunriser’s is raising money for Pre-K and Kindergarten students. The club will hold its annual Fish Fry on February 9 at the Winona Elks Lodge. Funds from the event will provide services to children in the Winona area including a reading program and free books. Club members will go into schools and read with children as part of the reading program. Last fall the Kiwanis Club, Sunriser’s provided 50 backpacks full of school supplies for Ready Set School.
The cost for the fish fry is $12 and tickets can be purchased at the door or from any club member. Meals are dine-in or takeout and will be served from 4:30 pm to 7 pm.
