(KWNO)-A La Crosse man will serve at least five years in prison after pleading guilty to federal gun charges on Thursday. Benjamin Thoreson was indicted for possession with intent to deliver drugs and felony possession of a firearm. As part of plea deal the drug charge will be dropped. A judge can still reject the plea deal. La Crosse police announced they intend to charge Thoreson with hiding the corpse of Julia Hedum. Her body was found last summer near the Bud Hendrickson Trail.
