(KWNO)-A Winona woman accused of killing her husband will go on trial soon. Lori Phillips is charged with running over her husband with her truck following an argument in February 2019. The incident happened in Holmen where Phillips then lived with her husband Mark Phillips. Lori Phillips pleaded not guilty, claiming she found her husband in a snowbank near their home the morning after they argued. She was in La Crosse County court on Tuesday for a motion hearing to decide if the jury can visit the crime scene. A judge ultimately denied that motion. Phillips’s trial is expected to start next week.
