(KWNO)-Kwik Trip is confirming a “cybersecurity incident” disrupted services on its internal network. On October 9 customers started experiencing problems with the Kwik Trip app and loyalty program. A post on the company’s Facebook page says a “forensic investigation is still ongoing” and as of now there’s “no indication that guests’ payment card information was involved.”
The Kwik Rewards app and website remains offline, but the statement says most stores can process loyalty transactions. Any missed rewards as a result of the outage will be restored, according to the Facebook post.
