(KWNO)-A fire early Friday morning at the Huff-Lamberton Mansion displaced 12 people. Firefighters responded to the historic Winona building around 2:30 a.m. on Friday. According to a post on the Winona Fire Department’s Facebook page, the fire was confined to a common area near the entry and there was only minor damage to the building.
Firefighters did assist one person out of the building but there are no reported injuries. The Red Cross is helping the displaced residents find somewhere to stay. The cause of the fire is under investigation.Â
