(KWNO)-A Rochester man allegedly assaulted his girlfriend while she was sleeping. Winona Police were called to a residence in the 50 block of Broadway Avenue on Tuesday evening. When they arrived a woman told them she woke up to her boyfriend punching her in the face. She said he hit her three times.
Police arrested 55-year-old Leonard Arnold Tucker. Tucker admitted he and the woman were pushing each other but said he didn’t hit her. The woman had bruises on her face, Tucker showed no signs of injury.
