OSSEO, Wis. (KWNO)- Two men from Chicago are in custody after Trempealeau County Authorities say they recovered a large quantity of narcotics during a traffic stop last week.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over 33-year-old Dajuan C. Thomas after observing several traffic violations on Interstate 94 near Osseo. Authorities say the deputy’s K-9 became alerted to the presence of narcotics.
Officials say a search of the vehicle yielded 300 grams of unspecified narcotics. They estimate the drugs have a street value of $20,000.
Thomas and 52-year-old Lucious Thomas were taken to jail following the traffic stop. Authorities are still investigating.
