Woman charged with sexual abuse, free on bond, allegedly assaults same juvenile victim

(KWNO)-A Minnesota City woman is being charged with sexually abusing the same juvenile victim for the second time in the past year. Winona County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jessica Devorak, 25, on Wednesday. She’s charged with first and third-degree assault and violating a DANCO (Domestic Abuse No Contact Order). Devorak was arrested near Stockton for having sexual contact with the juvenile female who is or was Devorak’s foster child.

Devorak was accused of strangling the same juvenile girl in September 2022 and allegedly having a monthslong sexual relationship with her. According to a Winona County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson that case is pending and Devorak was free on bond when the abuse started again.
