(KWNO)-Luke Madsen is excited for the opportunity to lead Winona Senior High School.
“Winona is that sweet spot where we’re able to provide tons of opportunities for kids but we’re also able to get our arms around all of them and get to know all of them,” says Madsen.
Madsen is less than three weeks into his new job as principal at WSHS. He says the transition is going well and praises his colleagues for their help.
Madsen has been an educator for 26 years, most recently as principal at Black River Falls High School. He looks at education through an “equity lens” and will strive to give all teachers and students at WSHS “what they need, when they need it.”
