(KWNO)-A series of trail running and bike events has raised $6,000 for a local mental health center. The races were organized by nonprofit Storm Sports Events and donated to Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center (HVMHC). The funds will be used to help support the mental health needs of young people in the greater Winona area. Storm Sports Events was founded in 2019 and has raised more than $31,000 to help fund youth mental health programs HVMHC and Family and Children’s Center.
