(KWNO)-Winona County Master Gardener Volunteers will host a garden forum on July 1. Bruno Borsari. a professor of biology at Winona State, will present a program on honeybees. Borsari’s Linkedin page says he’s “interested in sustainable food production at the micro scale” and studies “soils, plant communities, food systems and agrobiodiversity.” Borsari will discuss the importance of pollinators in food production and tips on how to maintain beehives. This forum will be Windom Park gazebo at 10 a.m. and will be held rain or shine.
