(KWNO)-A drive-by shooting in downtown La Crosse injured six and closed several blocks around 3rd street. It happened on Saturday around 2:00 a.m. La Crosse police say Deandrew Grant, a 31-year-old man from Rochester, fired multiple shots from a handgun.

Victims were treated at the scene and some taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Grant was arrested shortly after the shooting without incident. La Crosse police recovered a vehicle and gun and believe Grant acted alone. He is charged with attempted first-degree reckless homicide.
