(KWNO)-The man convicted of kidnapping and murdering a Minnesota woman won’t face the death penalty. Alfonso Rodriguez Jr. abducted Dru Sjodin at a Grand Forks, ND shopping mall in 2003 before killing her and dumping her body near Crookston.
Sjodin’s body was found five months later. A federal judge in North Dakota reversed the 2007 death sentence for Rodriguez and he will now serve a life prison term.
