(KWNO)-A man is being charged with felony assault after attacking a worker on a train approaching Winona. Jason Kalani Mook, 59, of San Jose, CA, allegedly hit a train worker in the head with a soda can and screamed he was going to “kill” the victim, according to the Winona County Sheriff’s Office.
Law enforcement agencies were called to the Winona train station on Friday morning and after boarding the train arrested Mook. The alleged assault took place in the dining car and witnesses told officers the attack was totally unprovoked.
