(KWNO)-The warm weather means people are out and about with their dogs more.
The Winona Police are reminding dog owners their four-legged friends are not allowed on the east side of Lake Park. Winona PD posting on its Facebook page that several species of migratory birds nest on the east side of the park and keeping dogs away ensures those nesting areas are safe. Dogs are allowed on the west side of the park.
