(KWNO)- The Winona County Sheriff’s Office say that over the weekend, they received a report of a Moose just north of Silo Drive on Hwy 43.
Deputies reported to the scene, joined by someone who specializes in Game like a Moose.
Upon arriving, Deputies say that they didn’t see any Moose, but did find tracks.
The Sherrif’s Department says that it is believed that the animal was an Elk, as noticed by the marks left in the snow, but there is no official confirmation.
Nonetheless, a very peculiar thing for either an Elk or a Moose to be found in that location.
