(KWNO)- The former Shopko property in Winona has been sold for $2.25 million.
Winona County Recorder Bob Bambenek said the property was acquired by an Arizona-based real estate firm during an online auction. He says early indications are the west side property will be converted into a U-Haul location.
The big-box store closed in June of 2019 after filing for bankruptcy earlier that year.
