(KWNO)-Winona Senior High School’s Theatre Group production of “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical” is happening this weekend, and local residents are invited to attend.
Winona Senior High School students will stage the production Friday, November 18th, and Saturday, November 19th, at 7 p.m. and again on Sunday, November 20th, at 2 p.m. in the Winona Senior High School auditorium. Tickets will be available at the door for $7 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.
Winonans are invited to observe what happens when someone discovers they are a demi-god, a half-human, half-god mix, while simultaneously dealing with the news that Zeus’ lightning bolt is missing and he may have stolen it.
The script was adapted from the book “The Lightning Thief” by Rick Riordan. Composition and writing of music and lyrics by Rob Rokicki.
The musical is directed by Debbie Berhow, with choreography by Brittany Moncrief.
“The Lightning Thief” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals (www.concordtheatricals.com).
