(KWNO)- Just under a month after Rush Creek was hit with a large Fish Killing, a similar incident happened in Isabelle Creek, just outside of Ellsworth, WI.
The Wisconsin DNR reports in a press release that staff has observed over 600 dead trout and a variety of dead forage fish species in Isabelle Creek.
The Wisconsin DNR has been onsite several times since Aug. 17th.
The investigation is ongoing and there are no further details available.
There is no information on if the Rush Creek fish killing is possibly related to the Isabelle Creek fish killing but seems unlikely.
