
(KWNO)- A Glenville Man died on Monday morning after colliding with a semi.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports that 45-year-old Scott Kirton of Hammond, WI, was driving his Kenworth Semi Well drilling truck southbound on I-35 near exit 2 when a tire blew out and Kirtin lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle crossed the median and collided head-on with a Dodge Ram pickup truck. 22-year-old Hunter Robertson was driving the pickup truck, he died at the scene of the accident.
Albert Lea Fire Department, Glenville Fire Department, Mayo Ambulance, and Minnesota Department of Transportation all assisted Freeborn County Sherriffs with the accident.
