(KWNO)-Home sales and average home prices are up in Winona County through the first quarter of 2022.
County Recorder Bob Bambenek reported 146 home sales for the first three months of 2022. That’s up from 138 in 2020 with the majority of the sales happening in the City of Winona.
Bambenek reported that 87% of the homes sold in the first quarter were priced above county market value. He says the average home price in Winona County is $220,000, up from $198,000 in 2021.
There were also 17 commercial property sales and 14 land sales in the past three months, according to Bambenek.
