WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Customers of a Winona-based company are being warned about a scam going around.
HBC says its customers have reported receiving a call from a person impersonating a company representative. The scammer will instruct the customer to turn off their TV and send a security deposit in exchange for more channels.
HBC asks anyone who receives the scam call to hang up immediately.
