WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Donations made to Ready Set School will be doubled once again thanks to another local manufacturing company.

The Winona County non-profit that helps low-income families afford school supplies received a $5,000 donation from Celanese that will go towards doubling donations made in April. Last month Peerless Chain donated $5,000 to double donations made to Ready Set School.

“We feel humbled to have met our first $5,000 match before the end of March because of the generous support of community members. Now we have been given another $5,000 matching grant to ensure every child has the tools they need for school. We are very grateful,” shares Ready Set School Director, Mandi Olson.

Social responsibility through philanthropy and volunteerism is a core value at Celanese.  We are excited to partner with Ready Set School to support students in our community.” Monica Siegfried, Manager Stewardship- Stewardship Program Owner-Regional Coordinator at Celanese.
