WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Sugar Loaf Trail and all of the other hiking trails in Bluffside Park are closed until further notice.
The Winona Park and Recreation Department cited muddy conditions as the cause for the trail closures. They say using the trails in their current state could cause further erosion and create more work for park crews and volunteers.
It could be a while until the trails dry out as meteorologists are predicting rain for Tuesday and Wednesday in Winona.
