One Injured Following Winona County Crash

(KWNO)- One person was injured following a single-vehicle crash in Winona County Friday afternoon.  

The State Patrol says 74-year-old Gordon C. Abel of South Elgin, Ill. was traveling west on Interstate 90 near Pleasant Hill Township when he entered the ditch and overturned. Authorities say the road was covered with snow and ice.  

Abel was taken to the Winona Emergency Room for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
