WAPS Community Task force to rotate remaining meetings among school buildings

WINONA, Minn. — The WAPS Community Taskforce is taking the show on the road.

The remaining task force meetings will rotate among the six school buildings in Winona Area Public Schools in order to give members another up close look at the issues they are working together to address.

The tours and meetings will be open to the public. The meetings will consist of:

• 5:30-6:30 p.m.: Building tour

• 6:30-8:30 p.m.: Regular committee meeting

The meeting dates and locations are as follows:

• Wednesday, Dec. 22 at Washington-Kosciusko Elementary, 365 Mankato Ave.

• Wednesday, Jan. 12 at Goodview Elementary, 5100 9th St.

• Wednesday, Jan. 26 at Winona Middle School, 1570 Homer Road

• Wednesday, Feb. 9 at Jefferson Elementary, 1268 W. 5th St., and Winona Area Learning Center, 1299 W. 3rd St. Tour will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Jefferson, then proceed to the WALC for a brief tour and the meeting.

• Wednesday, Feb. 23 at Winona Senior High School, 901 Gilmore Ave.
