Engage Winona Reflects on Busy Year

WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Engage Winona had a busy 2021. 

The local program continued its partnership with the Winona County government by getting feedback on the county’s criminal justice programs. Engage Winona also developed a community needs survey to inform county leaders use of funding from American Rescue Plan.  

Engage Winona was also awarded a contract to gather community feedback for the city of Winona as it forms its next comprehensive plan. Engage Winona held virtual and in-person conversations about the plan this month.  

The group also graduated 11 community members from its Lived Experience Leaders Program. Engage Winona also named its new Executive Director Marcia Ratliff this year.
