Lewiston Hunter Suffers Injuries Following Accidental Shooting

VIOLA TWP., Minn. (KWNO)-A Lewiston man is recovering after being accidentally shot while deer hunting in eastern Olmsted County.  

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says he was shot Saturday while his group was attempting to drive deer towards him and other hunters. Authorities say one of 48 rounds fired during the drive struck the man in the calf.  

Investigators haven’t determined which hunter hit the victim.
