Police Issue Dozens of Alternate Side Parking Citations

WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Dozens of Winonans woke up to find a parking tickets on their windshields Monday morning.  

Winona Police issued 75 citations to vehicle owners who violated the city’s alternate side parking ordinance. The ordinance began at 12:01 a.m. on Nov. 15.  

It requires vehicles parked on city streets to park on the side of the street that corresponds with the odd or even date between 12:01 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. daily until March 15, 2022.
