WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Winona County will hold a blood drive on Tuesday, Oct. 19.
It will take place at the Sobeski Park Lodge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Red Cross is asking donors who got the COVID-19 vaccine to provide the name of the vaccine manufacturer they received.
The Red Cross’s website says in most cases there is no deferral time for individuals who received a COVID-19 vaccine as long as they are symptom-free and feeling well at the time of donation.
The Red Cross says there’s an urgent need for donated blood. For registration information, click here.
