(KWNO)-Two Winona County lookouts were listed as top destinations to view fall foliage.
The Star Tribune referenced the Elba Fire Tower and Great River Bluffs State Park in an article highlighting the 14 best spots in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan to view fall colors.
Snubbed from the list was the Garvin Heights lookout in Winona. The website Smokey Mountains dot com projects the fall colors in the area to start peaking by early October.
