(KWNO)-Paperbacks and Pieces is hosting a Puzzle Competition benefiting Winona Steamboat Days, with all proceeds helping support the celebration. The event is made possible through the generosity of the American Legion, which has donated the event space, and Paperbacks and Pieces, which is donating its time and efforts to organize and host the competition.
Teams of four can compete in a 500-piece puzzle competition for an $80 registration fee. Teams of two can take on the challenge of completing two 275-piece puzzles for a $50 registration fee.
There will be cash prizes for the top two teams in each round, and every competitor will have the chance to win door prizes.
A special puzzle sale will also take place during the event, with a portion of the proceeds donated to Steamboat Days.
Registrations are due by Friday, September 11th so that enough supplies can be ordered.
