(KWNO)-A 22-year-old man is dead after apparently drowning at Airport Lake in Winona. According to the Winona County Sheriff’s Office an emergency call came in around 8:00 p.m. Thursday that a man was missing at the popular swimming area. The man was found in the water after a 40-minute search and life-saving measures were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s name will be released after his family is notified. The Winona County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
