The Winona Chiefs (2-4) traveled to Dartt’s Park to take on the Owatonna Aces (0-6) in a Twin Rivers League doubleheader.
The Chiefs are seeking their first road win of 2026 against the Aces, with their last game against Rush Creek being postponed due to weather. The last time the Chiefs were in action on June 3rd against the Dodge County Diamondbacks, dropping that contest 10-4 after leading 3-0 through five innings.
Cole Schossow leads the team in runs (5) and RBIs (6) through the first six games of action. He trails behind Carson Jones in batting average (.375). The Chiefs have picked up 36 strikeouts to 35 hits in the pitcher’s mound. They look to kick that going against Owatonna.
