Linda Karen (Fort) Church

Linda Karen (Fort) Church, 74 of Minnesota City, MN, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026, at Winona Health Services, Winona, MN.

Linda was born on December 9, 1951, in Winona, to Janice (Henderson) and Arnold Fort. She graduated from Winona High School in 1970, and continued her education at Southeast Area Vo-Tech. On November 13, 1970, she married Ried Church at the McKinley United Methodist Church, Winona, MN.

A lifelong area resident, Linda was a dedicated farm wife and business partner with Ried. Doing what needed to be done around the farm: chores, cooking, milking etc. She served as a Rollingstone Township officer and on the Board of Directors for Mound Prairie Mutual Ins. She was a cancer survivor. She gave the gift of life to others through her tissue donation.

Linda was preceded in death by her father Arnold and her brother, Randy Fort.

She is survived by her husband, Ried Church; mother, Janice Fort; children: Rusty (Jackie) Church and Jared (Jody) Church; grandchildren: Troy (Addisyn Leslie) Bork, Austin Bork, Madison Church, and Ethan Church; great-granddaughter, Noelle; siblings: Gary Fort, Rhonda (Louis) Literski, and Robin (Lisa) Fort; and other relatives.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Fawcett Junker Funeral Home, Winona. Visitation will be an hour prior at the funeral home.
