(MNN)-There is an enhanced risk of severe weather later Monday in parts of the state. National Weather Service Meteorologist Joe Strus says everyone across the southern half of Minnesota should be on alert. The biggest threat of the most intense thunderstorms is likely from the Twin Cities south towards Interstate 90. Strus says there is a possibility of hail, damaging winds, tornadoes, and localized flooding with this system.
