(KWNO)-The Winona Rapid Response Team and other community members will hold a march this Saturday to “support all refugees and immigrants in Winona,” according to a press release. The ‘Freedom March’ starts at 1:00pm at Winona Senior High School. Following a short comment period the group will walk around the small lake and loop back to the WSHS parking lot. Winona Area Public Schools has no involvement with the march.
On Saturday January 10, approximately 600 people gathered near the Winona Post Office in response to the killing in Minneapolis of Renee Good by federal agents.
