(KWMN)-The Cotter Ramblers (10-1) boys basketball team is looking to extend their seven-game winning streak tonight, hosting the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (8-1) in a Three-Rivers Conference matchup.
The Ramblers won a thriller in their previous game, 77-74 over Dover-Eyota on the road. Gedion Errthum led the Ramblers with 22 points, including four made three-pointers. Mason Dotterwick and Lewis Shira followed closely with 12 and 11 points, respectively. The Ramblers took the lead late and fended off a three-point shot to take the game.
The Cardinals are coming off a monster win on January 6th over Fillmore Central, 100-50 after suffering their first loss of the season to Southland, 51-68.
In the Fillmore Central game, Lewiston-Altura had five different players in double digit points. Bennett Bonow led the Cardinals with 21 points and 4 made threes, followed closely by Payton Buytaert with 19, and Seth Lubinski with 18. Gavin Bambenek and Casey Frederickson also had 16 and 11 points, respectively.
