Highway 14 between Stockton and Winona reopens

(KWNO)-The detour on Highway 14 between Winona and Stockton has been removed and the road is open to all traffic, according to MnDOT. Construction crews started repairing the slopes on Stockton Hill this summer to guard against future erosion. Crews also widened the shoulder of the road and replaced guardrails. Highway 14 between Stockton and Wiona will be repaved in a separate project in 2026. Traffic will not be detoured during the paving, but single-lane traffic will be used at times.
