Two men arrested at ‘known Winona drug house’

(KWNO)-Two men were arrested at what a Winona Police Department spokesperson called a “known drug house.” According to the spokesperson officers went to the residence in the 400 block of Mankato Avenue on Tuesday night to serve a warrant on 49-year-old Christopher Swinger. While arresting Swinger, 33-year-old Willie Chambers started yelling at the homeowner for letting officers into the house. After taking Swinger out of the home, officers found out Chambers also had an outstanding warrant. While still on site the officers heard shrieks and screams coming from inside the house. They went back in and found Chambers hiding under a blanket. He was taken into custody for the warrant and additional charges including domestic assault for threatening the homeowner.
