(KWNO)-Two men are under for arrest for drug possession after driving through rural property in Lewiston. According to the Winona County Sheriff’s Office the owner of the property contacted law enforcement on Monday evening about a vehicle driving through his hayfield and his suspicion the occupants were intoxicated. The car had driven into the woods by the time deputies arrived, but they eventually found it and arrested David Rosburg of Fort Dodge, IA and Jared Olness-Jones of Oakdale, MN. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle. Olness-Jones, who was the passenger, said Rosburg had threatened to hurt him if he got out of the car. A WCSO spokesperson said Rosburg and Olness-Jones were at a casino in Prior Lake earlier in the day and the vehicle was reported stolen. Investigators are still trying to determine what the men were doing in Lewiston.
