(MNN)-Minnesota Governor Tim Walz says he has no intention of running for president in 2028. In a podcast episode released Thursday, Walz told former DNC Chair Jaime Harrison that a White House bid “hasn’t crossed his mind.” Speaking on At Our Table, Walz emphasized his focus on strengthening the Democratic Party and supporting its eventual nominee, adding “I’m doing all I can to help build the party and make sure whoever that person is wins.” Walz hasn’t announced whether he’ll seek a third term as governor next year.
