(MNN)-Officials with the Minnesota Department of Human Services are warning about how proposed federal cuts to Medicaid and medical assistance could impact Minnesotans. MDH Medicaid Director John Connolly says the cuts would take away health coverage and access to essential and lifesaving care. Connolly says cuts could also cost the state roughly $500 million a year, and between 152,000 and 253,000 people could lose coverage in Minnesota. More information on the proposed cuts and the impacts can be found on the DHS website.
