(KWNO)-An ATV and pickup truck collided Thursday morning in Wilson Township. According to the accident report, the truck was traveling southbound on Highway 43 and the ATV was westbound crossing Highway 43 when the vehicles collided. The driver of the pickup, 71-year-old Kerry Heiden of Rushford, was taken to Winona Health with non-life-threatening injuries. The ATV driver, 87-year-old Elmer Gilow of Winona, was airlifted to the hospital in La Crosse. The report states Gilow’s injuries were also non-life threatening. The Minnesota State Patrol, Winona County Sheriff’s Office, Wilson Fire, Winona Ambulance and Lewiston Ambulance responded to the crash.
