(KWNO)-Mark your calendars for the Miss Winona Steamboat Days Scholarship Program on June 11 when nine women will vie for the title of Miss Winona Steamboat Days 2025. The competition will begin with a private interview conducted by a local panel of five judges. The crowning ceremony will happen at the Steamboat Days Caps ‘N Crowns event.
The Caps N’ Crowns event is open to the public to celebrate. The reception for the 2025 Harbor Master and crowning of Miss Winona Steamboat Days will begin at 5:15pm in the Steamboat Days entrainment Garden at the foot of Main Street Levee Park. Admission is $10 at the door, or you may purchase a Steamboat Days button at Midtown, HyVee, or Kwik Trip Stores.
The newly crowned Miss Winona Steamboat Days, as well as her two attendant title holders will all receive scholarships from $1,500 to $3,500 to put towards furthering their education. Additionally, they will appear at several events including the Kiddie Parade, Merchant’s Pancake Breakfast, Downtown Autograph Signing with Miss America 2025 and of course, the Steamboat Days Grand Parade.
The Miss Winona Steamboat Days contestants are Natalie Horeck, Malia Indra, Bethany Finnegan, Patience Star King-Henke, Alicia Dionysius, Madelynn Bosch, Aliya Gricius, Alaina Bell and Emma Mandelkow.
