(KWNO)-The Winona County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 43-year-old Jennifer Baechle in connection with the newborn baby found dead near Winona on September 5, 2011. Boaters found the baby girl floating in the river about six miles south of Winona.

She was dubbed ‘Baby Angel’ because of the porcelain angels found with her. Baechle is in custody and charged with second-degree manslaughter. A WCSO spokesperson said more information will be presented at news conference today at Sobieski Park at 12:30 p.m.
