(KWNO)-A fire in Zumbrota on Wednesday evening engulfed several campers. First responders were called around 4:15 pm to the Shades of Sherwood Campground. When fire crews arrived, several campers were on fire. Zumbrota Police officers made sure the campers were unoccupied, and firefighters extinguished the fires. The cause of the fire is under investigation but according to the Zumbrota Fire Departments Facebook page it may have been caused by a discarded cigarette.
