(KWNO)-Two people are lucky to be alive after a drunk driving crash in Winona. It happened Saturday night near the intersection of 3rd Street and Mechanic Street. According to a Winona Police Spokesperson, 33-year-old Kyle Ostrander was speeding and rolled his vehicle. Officers arriving on the scene suspected Ostrander was intoxicated, and he was arrested. A passenger in the car suffered significant injuries from “deep lacerations on the head” but refused medical treatment. The spokesperson said the car was totaled and he “didn’t know how nobody died.”
