(MNN)-Minnesota anglers after the perfect bass could soon be able to fish year-round. The House has a bill getting bipartisan support. The D-N-R says the bass population is doing quite well so a year-round season would have little impact. Right now, the season for largemouth and smallmouth bass runs from May until February. Representative Jim Nash from Waconia says this legislation would allow more people to take up fishing and help the fishing industry which has suffered as of late.
