(KWNO)-Winona State University will host an open house for its new Collaborative Healthcare Simulation and Learning Center on Thursday at 3:00 pm. The center is located in the historic Massey Building in downtown Rochester. The Collaborative Simulation Center is described as a prototype learning lab in which students and faculty can learn together. The center will utilize virtual anatomy tools, virtual reality and other simulation-based technologies. The Collaborative Simulation Center is the result of planning by the Greater Rochester Advocates for Universities and Colleges (GRAUC) and grant funding from the State of Minnesota.
